Stonewall council joins ISD in lobbying effort  Share Photos

From dogs to fiber wire and school bus routes, the Stonewall Council heard a little bit on everything during the council meeting on May 16. The meeting started with delegations from the Interlake School Division (ISD) about numerous issues, but the biggest issue was fiber connectivity.

It was a long night for the Interlake Bluejays when they hosted a double header against the Bonivital Black Sox in Stonewall on May 17. The second game was played to accommodate one later this month where some players from the Blue Jays will be competing in high school provincial baseball.

SCI girls rugby team end regular season tonight  Share Photos

The varsity girls Stonewall Rams rugby team have dropped two straight and have seen their record fall to 2-2. The first loss came at the hands of Glenlawn on May 7. A week later they played St. John’s-Ravenscourt at home.
