The longest currently serving principal in the Interlake School Division has called it a career.

École R.W. Bobby Bend School principal Greg Ross is retiring after working his last day as principal on Dec. 20. Ross was first hired to work at the elementary school in Stonewall in 1998 as a vice-principal under then-principal Darlene Dufily.

When Dufily became superintendent of ISD in 2002, Ross was promoted to principal, a position he had served ever since.

Sascha Epp, ÉRWBB’s vice-principal, has been appointed interim principal by the ISD board of trustees effective Jan. 1.
