Tips are sought on the whereabouts of an alleged cheque kiter.
Police say Rachelle Beaulieu, 47, visited a local bank in March to cash a cheque drawn on the account of a non-profit agency.
“This cheque had been issued for services rendered to a company and was stolen,” according to a release from Crime Stoppers. “Beaulieu forged the cheque to make it out to her name and deposited it to her account, committing fraud.”
Beaulieu is wanted for possession of stolen property under $5,000, uttering a forged document and fraud under $5,000.
The accused is described as 5-foot-2 and 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She is known to be in the City of Greater Sudbury area.
